Blessed Mother CollectionIn 1830, Catherine Laboure, a 24-year old member of the order Congregation of the Daughters of Charity, had a vision in which the Holy Virgin appeared in a circle of stars, wearing many rings that cast rays of light. She directed Catherine to take what she saw to her confessor, that it might be put on medallions for all to wear, who would then receive graces as the rays touched each of them. That image has been reproduced in glorious color, on this magnificent Blessed Mother Collection of home accents. Mary the Virgin, in classically draped, flowing robes, is posed against a background of rich blues, with the circle of stars serving as her halo. A historic artwork treasured by many for both its representation of faith, and beauty.
